"MY ACCOUNT OF Job 38-41"

38

The Lord asserts the men present "darkeneth counsel by words without knowledge". He then plainly and inarguably proves man's supreme ignorance of nature and man's destiny to remain ignorant. This reader concludes that, however wonder may be exempted, man's so-called "knowledge" is purely and merely of a functional kind and no more.

39

The Lord proves the inescapability of struggle during the course of the individual's organic existence. He affirms the individual's right to freedom and independence from society as a being evolving unceasingly and continuously in ineffable wilderness. He indicates the utter confusion of blood and that all is vanity to and for a creature without fear.

40

Job perceives vileness in wordplay.

The Lord prescribes specific methodology for Job's achievement of empowerment posthaste. He then prescribes a plain, specific and purposeful agenda for Job. He then prescribes Job's religious awareness to the future and confesses Job's timeless symbol of salvation. He elaborates to provide Job with a model of bodily self-respect; the model is behemoth.

41

The Lord makes the case for His Own physical incontestability as an endlessly impenetrable, eternal, universal power. He provides insight as to the uselessness of technology and culture both if in sincere pursuit of a true contest. He boasts He has no fear.

FINE

P.S., Smoke and Bounce fans: for the record, this personal account of what has historically been my far and away favorite passage of The Holy Scriptures, Job 38-41, was realized via the reading of the 1972 King James Version by Thomas Nelson Inc.
